Win Tickets To Metal Hammer Awards

JOB FOR A COWBOY to play at Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2008 and Need to Give Away Tickets!

Metal Hammer have just announced their nominations for their Golden Gods 2008 Awards extravaganza along with some of the bands who will be appearing.

This years bash takes place at The Indigo2 @ 02 in London on June 16th.

After romping home with an award for BEST UNDERGROUND BAND (as voted for by fans) Arizona five piece JOB FOR A COWBOY will be joining Bring Me The Horizon (and 2 more to be announced) for intimate appearances on board the Dixie Queen, as it sails up the Thames to The Indigo2 rammed with metal maniacs. There will be performances at the awards show by Disturbed, In Flames, Testament and Children Of Bodom.

With that being said, Job For A Cowboy needs to GIVE AWAY TICKETS to the event. This includes admission to BOTH the boat and the awards. There are some rules, though:
- Need to be 16+ (no questions as you will be turned away without proper ID)
- Need to be able to attend. The boat will leave around 3 in the afternoon on a Monday and the awards show at the Indigo2 will end at roughly 11:00 p.m.
- Tickets are VERY limited (though there will be a bunch of winners) so you will have to earn them.

To ensure that you are one of the crazed Job For A Cowboy fans that deserves to win one of the pairs of tickets, we will be running a contest on our Myspace page from now until the date of the Metal Hammer Awards. Simply go to the Job For A Cowboy Myspace page and go to the pictures. There you will find a picture of a Boat (The Dixie Queen Herself). Leave a comment under the picture of the boat - comments can include links to videos proving your love for the band, videos of your parents wearing JFAC shirts telling everyone that they will take you because you don't have a car or a ride, exquisite drawings, beautiful poetry, etc. You can leave as many comments as you want - see what others are doing and one up them. **WARNING**: Nothing Illegal, destructive or overtly crude will be tolerated. We are looking for positive, truly creative pieces of work here. The band and their management will be sorting through ALL of them and will conclude who deserves the tickets. A t-shirt will be included in the package that you can wear on the boat and to the awards show. All video/picture entries must be linked through the comments as the HTML is disabled. All comments not relating to the contest or pleas for tickets will be deleted so have some fun. You have some time.
